Return, Refund and purchasing policy

A. Returns and Refund Policy Clause :

Before purchasing tickets, users must carefully review your booking details. Ticketalay prohibits exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.

However, in certain instances, events or movie screenings may be cancelled or rescheduled by the event organizer or cinema. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to notify you promptly and provide a refund in accordance with the organizer’s or cinema's policy.

  • Refund Eligibility : Refunds are eligible under circumstances such as event cancellation, rescheduling, technical issues during the booking process, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent attendance.
  • User Responsibilities : Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their bookings and understanding the terms of this refund policy before confirming their purchase.
  • Cancellation Fees : A nominal cancellation fee may be applicable based on the timing of the cancellation. Details of the fees will be communicated during the cancellation process.
  • Event-Specific Policies :Customers are advised to check for any specific refund policies related to individual events or venues. Event-specific terms and conditions may apply.
  • Payment Method : Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the booking. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

  • User Responsibilities :Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their bookings and understanding the terms of this refund policy before confirming their purchase.
  • Exceptions : Exceptions to the standard refund policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances. Customers can contact our customer support team to discuss any exceptional situations.
  • Legal Compliance : This refund policy is in compliance with relevant local laws and regulations governing ticketing and consumer rights.

B. Purchasing Policy :

Ticketalay acts as an agent for event organizers and cinemas, handling transactions and payments. Pricing and availability are determined by the organizers or cinemas, not directly by Ticketalay. Thank you for choosing our services!

  • Email Confirmation : Your booking confirmation will be sent via email. Please print this confirmation and present it at the ticket counter to receive a physical ticket.
  • SMS Confirmation : Alternatively, your booking confirmation can be sent via SMS. Show the SMS details at the ticket counter to obtain your physical ticket. Ticketalay may also choose to deliver physical tickets for the event or movie. Delivery will be attempted twice before cancelling the transaction.
  • Note : Regardless of the confirmation method, you must present the credit/debit card used for the ticket purchase when picking up the tickets at the venue. If someone other than the cardholder is collecting the tickets, an authorization with a photocopy of the credit/debit card (signed by the cardholder) must be provided. Ensure that the signature on the card matches the one used for authorization. Physical tickets will be delivered to the address confirmed on the website.
  • Ticketalay will accept Rupay, Visa, MasterCard,American Express, select Debit Cards and Net Banking. Other payment methods may be added from time to time.
  • Ticketalay shall act as an agent/intermediary for the promotion of events which you purchase tickets (“Event Organizer”) and for movie halls (Cinema, Theatre). When you purchase a ticket for an event/movie, Ticketalay will be handling the transaction and collecting payment for the organizer/Cinema.
  • It is mandatory requirement to purchase separate tickets for the Children aged 3 year and above.
If there is an incorrect payment amount due to a pricing error on the website or any other communication, or if you manage to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date, or even if you accidentally order a ticket that wasn't meant to be released for sale, Ticketalay reserves the right to cancel the ticket (or the order) and refund the amount you paid. This policy applies regardless of whether the error was due to human mistake or a technical glitch on the website.
